I’ve been thinking this question for a while now, and I’m curious to get your take on it. You see, I’ve been using this media player called VLC, and I can’t quite figure out if it’s actually built-in or if it’s something I need to install separately. I mean, I know it’s a popular and widely-used media player, but is it just automatically included in my system, or do I need to go through the whole download and installation process? It’s been bugging me, and I’m hoping you might have some insight to share. I’m really trying to understand the ins and outs of this VLC thing, you know? So, what’s the deal with it – is it built-in or do I need to take extra steps to get it up and running? I’d appreciate your thoughts on this, my friend.
VLC media player is not built into most operating systems by default. It is a standalone, open-source media player that needs to be downloaded and installed separately. However, once installed, VLC can play a wide variety of audio and video file formats, making it a versatile and popular choice for many users.
It is open source and no other companies, microsoft, apple etc. bought it. So, none of these companies does not give a chance to VLC Player in their operating systems as a default. So it is not built in.
